I have been researching my family branches on my Tree for a good thirty years. Long before the internet it was much more difficult! My Grandmother branch Powell:Hancock has always been the most difficult one investigate. The many genealogical list online and source available is remarrkable and outstanding.
I must state that this is one of the most helpful and kind hearted list I have posted to. Ancestry.com is nice, but the information is only as good as the persons listing the information. Sometimes there is many error in the data posted, the same thing holds true of the LDS Family search. There are many new USGenWeb sites out there with data from each State. Almost every County within a State is covered. Data is slow getting online at times as it is all volunteer work. If many of you have not gone to these sites it is most interesting what information and data you can pull up and out.
Many thanks to all that have helped me in my quest for lost souls on my Grandmother’s family, especially Bill! I will need to go over all the information he has forwarded to me and place it in my program as a tree in progress. Grandmother Ethel Powell’s brother looked very Indian (from pictures) so there might well be more Indian here then the tree shows.

I just found what fromOntario wrote sometime back. I have felt the very same this year. I felt like I was going to find my 3rd great grandmothers picture of Rebecca, which I have, but one thing has not followed, unless I go to Ohio I guess (dont know where to go) but that I would find distant Indian family members. I have not found that yet.
I hope soon. That would be wonderful!

the “coincidences” that I have seen over the last few years are too much! so, it’s all “cool” and things are “falling into place”.
