Some very dignified Haliwa-Saponi Indian Tribe members respectfully gathered Tuesday morning at Historic Halifax. State employees and archeologists were on-site to desilt Magazine Spring, considered a sacred site to Native Americans, specifically to the Haliwa-Saponi people.
