I am decended from Simeon Bethea. His mother was Ms Lang. No one seems to remember or just know what her first name. Simeon was born in Chowan Co., NC (now Gates Co.) about 1760. He moved with his parents to Cheraw Distrct, SC (now Marlboro Co.) abt 1771 and settled between present towns of Tatum and McColl, SC below Beaver Dam Creek. He later moved to the Nashville area.

Any info about this family, especially Ms Lang’s family would be greatly appreciated.
