anyone having a reicepe for my friend which is blackfoot indian or may know where i can get this for her would be great shell leave me alone and ill be happy i could get it for her!!!!!!!! she really has tried hard to find it.:confused:

I searched for this online too. The last link sammarrog posted on the above link is buffalo and seems to be the only one online. It seems more historical. The people who put this online are not Blackfoot. This is their bio page:

It sounds as if the making of this soup can be a part of sacred ceremonies so you shouldn’t find the information online. It is just as Tom said; to obtain this information your friend should learn it from those in the Western Blackfoot/feet(?) Nation with the knowledge.
Maybe your friend‘s grandmother had a community or friends in the area she lived who are such knowledgeable people.
I will search to find the official address and website if available for the western nation.
Where did your friend’s grandmother live? Is there something that ties her to a tribe associated with Eastern Blackfoot people?
