Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
William Bolling of Granville Co NC 1750 lived on Flat River, Benjamin Bolling 1753 lived on New Hope Creek and Ben’s (Bolin’s)Creek in Orange Co., NC. Looking for any of their siblings, children, wives or parents. Also William Gibson b 1815 Russell Co., Va. I have an idea his ancestors are from the Flat River area also but can’t connect him yet.
I descend from Benjamin Bolling and Charity Larimore of Wise Co., Va.
Thanks!
Welcome Barbara. Where do you live? I live near Orange County, NC. Maybe I could get you a picture of Ben’s Creek.

Hi Linda,
That would be great! I live in Michigan. The closest I’ve ever been to Orange Co., was on a trip from Wise Co., Va to Florida. Then again, that might have been Ashe Co. It was sure pretty wherever it was! Anything you have re Bolins/Ben’s Creek or especially early settlers there would be appreciated. Thank you!
I don’t but plenty of people have posted about them. Make sure you use the search feature to find them.
Looks like I don’t need to take a trip:
Quite a site with lots of history
I’ll do that, thanks!

I might have seen that already but I’ll take a peek. Thank you so much for your help and the warm welcome to the site. I really appreciate it.
