I hope everyone is having a great 2015… I have been watching a lot of Pow Wow dancing recently… Learning about the different styles, & found I “Chicken Dancing” which is my favorite at the moment…

We have several excellent non-competition chicken dancers here in the southeast. If the drum is really kickin’ they “become” prairie chickens, strutting and preening and squaring off like fighting roosters….. a true beauty to behold. I say go for it. You are young and strong. It is a real workout (and a lot more fun than pushups 😉
For your eastern woodland exercise check out “Smoke Dancing”. I’m an old man who dances “Eastern Woodland Buckskin” but if somebody starts playing a smoke dance on a hand drum, I’ll be akickin’. I guess the Tuscarora in me has gotta come out 😉
