We are moving tomorrow, so my commute is not so awful. We closed on the new house (a neat American foursquare that we willl be fixing up for quite a while). The house is the former home of the family who started Jockey Underwear. Tee hee!

June 12, 2004 at 3:58 am #9920Bill, I was offline all weekend. Someone jostled the connections as we moved. I needed this laugh!

After Ken groaned, I began to question the whether my comment was the right size.
June 12, 2004 at 3:58 am #9927The comment got a laugh and a groan. My husband really laughed.
Nice house. Built in 1925, so it did wear well. Will be fun to fix up. It sits in the ruins of the old farmyard. The birds woke me up at 4:30 A.M. today.

June 12, 2004 at 3:58 am #10006Hi, I’m Deb and I guess I never introduced myself to saponitown. Cindy told me to check this website out. Cindy and I have discovered that we are cousins and grew up within 25 miles of each other and had never met or even known about the other. She has shared alittle about some of you here and it seems that we are tracking some of the same people. I’m not real computer literate and have not managed to see all of the website yet but I’m working on it.
Cindy and I are related through Ralston’s and Sinkey’s. I have alot of info on Sinkey’s but not so much on Ralston’s. There are many names in Sinkey genealogy that repeat from PA to Ohio to Iowa. The only Houston/Huston I have is Nancy (father Andrew) married to Matthew Sinkey. I have numerous Greens, Paynes which connect to Harris, Mary McCartney m. to Wm. Sinkey, daughter of Daniel McCartney, Ralston’s, Potter’s, etc…
I think Cindy told me that Linda is related to Harris…and Bill is looking for info on Andrew Huston and related to McCartney’s. Is that right? I found a Harris website this AM in Licking Co, Ohio. I’m guessing you have already seen it. It shows a Persis Genora Payne married to Charles Sinkey.

Haven’t heard the name Payne before. I went to school with Paynes. They lived near and were likely related to the Smiths who are in the Green genealogy I sent you. In fact, my uncle was a Smith. I remember hiking in the Payne fields near his small farm.
