I thought I would move this to the genealogy section.
First of all, what I have found is Charles Cornwell born c1760 married to Elizabeth Thornton with son Thompson.
Starting in Farquier Co Va there is a Dennis, son Coleman married to Mahala Cole. And his son Coleman or Charles Coleman with at least four sons. Two into Indiana, Charles into Ky who married Elizabeth Thornton and Francis Marion Cornwell Born C1745. I think there were two marriages of the Coleman Jr. One to Jane Howison who had Charles, William and Peter? Francis is supposed to be the son of Coleman and an Indian lady. I saw this in several instances on Ancestry. Francis marries Mary Hanes. They also have a Thompson but he goes into Tn. Francis has a son (brother to this Thompson) that has a Fouchie, Foochi, Fooshi, Fooshe….Cornwell Grandfather to Talitha Cornwell who marries James Allen descended from William Hunt Allen and Mary Grant. William brother to my Joseph. Anyway the lines seem connected. I have to wonder about the early Mahala Cole also. The Thompson in Tn has a son Fushie, he a son Robert Allen Cornwell and he a daughter Sallie Coleman Cornwell. So there is a start. Saj
I have a Mahala Cole/Maria Cool/ also known as Mariah Cook have been trying to figure this out myself.
So there are two more names for her. I’ll see what I can find. I also have a Kinza, and a Woodson anything familiar in there?

How about this?
Thompson Cornwell marries Mariah Cook and has a son Harrison Cornwell born C1839. Second marriage is Jane Veatch. Born C1820..First she marries Woodson Noblitt and he dies. They have one son Woodson Noblitt. Second marriage with Thompson Cornwell. Among their children is Kinsey (Kinzie, Kinzy) born C1845. Jane Veatch’s father is Kinzey Veatch. The Jane Veatch I have as a mother to Talitha Cornwell is a different Jane born earlier but probably of the same Veatch clan. Thompson is born in Ky but ends up in Orange co In. See this….
