I am trying to reserch my family history. My maiden name is Freeman,I was born and raised in Hillsborugh,NC. The problem that I’m having is that my grandparents have deceased,so finding out family information is difficult. I do know that my grandfather was blackfoot. Need help on how to start the genealogical process of researching my ancestral backgroud.
