[Painted Horse]

Does anyone know anything about the forts in Taliaferro or Wilkes county GA? I am trying to learn about Sherrill’s fort, it may have another name. David and William Sherrill were involved with it’s building. Not sure if they were brothers or what. I believe they were kin.
