I am also new to this board. I am looking for descendents of Gee or Ghee who were in Gallia County, Ohio in the early part of the 1800’s to early 1900. Supposedly the matriarch of this group, John, came to Gallipolis in the early 1800’s. He married twice, once to a

Barbary Stowers and lastly to a Woodson.

I am looking for who came before John and what became of Will Gee after leaving Gallia County in the early 1900’s.

I have heard that there is some connection between the name Gee and Guy/ Guyes.

Any info will be appreciated.
