Would this Gwin family be related to the other Goin’s, Gowens etc?
I have seen where the Monacans were Fed Rec. I am from the Robert Shaw Hamilton who married Elizabeth Bethea. They moved to Hamiltons Station near nowdays Nashville TN. Does anyone have any info about this family and possible ties to the Monacans. We were told they were Chickasaw or even Cherokee. I would more likely be enclined to believe Chickasaw. They ended up residing in the RedRiver Co TX area of Pecan Bayou. This is near Clarcksville TX.
