Just popping in to say happy birthday to Saj. Hope you have a wonderful day and many more birthdays to come. Hope you will be able to journey down here some time and meet some of the others. So what flavor cake is your fav????

Favorite cake??? Oh dear. How about red velvet? With cherries and cool whip? Yummers.
My b-day was uneventful until dinner. My kids forgot to call and they’ll remember and then feel bad. I know they love me and that’s good but they grow up and have their own lives. Circumstances caused them to move away and that’s life but Dang It. Sometimes being a momma is hard.
There I vented. I started to send each one of them an e-mail but restrained myself.:eek: 😮 Would not have been a good idea.
Mousini, I do really hope to get to the gathering this year, whatever it takes.

Ok, red velvet it is….never had it with cherries and cool whip, but, that sounds good. Maybe pour some chocolate sauce on top???
Yeah, being a mama is hard….you have to let them grow up and take responsibility for themselves, a task I have a hard time doing….but, it’s a good thing that yours have. May be you should send each one a calendar next year with all the birthdays marked on it……and a note for yours….”call your mama”….
We hope you can make it, too….would love to sit and chat about the Tandys and the Walkers…and all the other ancestors. Could show you around the Person county area….and some places in Durham, too….
