My great grandmother’s maiden name was Birdie Cox. She married a man by the name of James Willis Lilly. They were from the Hinton WV area. I found out from my aunt that Birdie was a full-blood, but so far I have been unable to find out what tribe she would have belonged to. If anyone knows what tribe or someone else to ask that may know, I would greatly appreciate it.
