Just thought I would post for those that might want to know that John Marshall “Jug” Jeffries, father of John Blackfeather Jeffries, crossed over Aug. 28, 2010. The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1 in Martins Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be this evening at Chavis-Parker Funeral Home in Hillsborough from 7-8 p.m. The funeral home is at the intersection of Highway 57 and 86, just outside of Hillsborough.

Please keep John, Lynette, Vivette, Doug, Sharn, Little Bear, and Little Wolf in your prayers. Mr. Jeffries enjoyed life to the very end….and passed as we all hope to, quietly tiptoeing out holding Creator’s hand.
