It’s a little early, but there’s also a change/correction for the King powwow.

It’s August 15th-17th…not the 8th-10th. Same weekend as Nansemond. :~(

We went to the Fort Ancient celebration this year. It was good, I enjoyed it, there were less vendors this time.

Well, since Jami is not emceeing King this year….and if gas prices are reasonable, we will probably go to Nansemond…..good size pow wow in a good place. Plus, Mike and Jeannie will be at Nansemond as well. It’s a good one to shop for beads and other goodies.

I did notice on thespike.com that there is a pow wow on the weekend of Aug. 9-10th in Manteo…hmmmm…might have to save up for that trip….

I didn’t go last year due to deaths in the family, nor this year due to just having too much to do.
