May 12, 2008 at 3:37 pm #31772Hey Roca,
Forgot to say that our plans have changed. Will not be going to Shenandoah. Maybe next time.
May 12, 2008 at 3:37 pm #31773Hey Becky,
It’s a little early, but there’s also a change/correction for the King powwow.
It’s August 15th-17th…not the 8th-10th. Same weekend as Nansemond. :~(
May 12, 2008 at 3:37 pm #31806We went to the Fort Ancient celebration this year. It was good, I enjoyed it, there were less vendors this time.
May 12, 2008 at 3:37 pm #31808Well, since Jami is not emceeing King this year….and if gas prices are reasonable, we will probably go to Nansemond…..good size pow wow in a good place. Plus, Mike and Jeannie will be at Nansemond as well. It’s a good one to shop for beads and other goodies.
May 12, 2008 at 3:37 pm #31809I did notice on thespike.com that there is a pow wow on the weekend of Aug. 9-10th in Manteo…hmmmm…might have to save up for that trip….

I didn’t go last year due to deaths in the family, nor this year due to just having too much to do.
I did hear that people were asking where I was and how I was doing though. Ha Ha
