I have had some family asking me about Juriah Day.

Juriah Day b. 1799 married January 11, 1822 to David Collins b. 1799 Knox Co. KY

So far we have no leads. The marriage record didn’t record her parents. They are later possibly in Martinsville, IN Morgan Co. area about 1831.

Nothing states where she may have been born. Perhaps in the Knox county areas?

I do have that info., but as you said the link will help others that may not. No one has been able to find anything about Juriah Day so far other than the marriage to David 1799.

Has the person making the inquiry researched any of the DAY lines in Knox/Floyd Co., Ky, that you know of?

I only found one DAY on the 1810 Knox Co census, p.68:

John Day

2 males under 10

2 males 10 to 15

2 males 16 to 25

1 male 45 and over

3 females under 10

1 female 45 and over

No DAY’s found in Knox Co in 1820, but 7 DAY households are in Floyd Co.

1830 Knox, only one DAY, who may or may not have been there in 1822:

Edward DAY

1 male 5 to 9

1 male 40 to 49

2 females 10 to 14

1 female 15 to 19

1 female 50 to 59

Sure.

Juriah/Jeniah Day Collins may have been born in Lee Co., Va., I haven’t proven it, but the 1850 Ozark Co., Mo census lists her as born “Va”

The 1799 dates for David Jr and Juriah are from that Missouri census record and the marriage date is probably from the same Knox Co Marriage Record index I found them on.
