Hi Family,

My momma and I were both at the Pow Wow/Concert in DC. Very small turnout but we appreciated being there to experience an historic moment. I wish there were more Virginia/NC Native Americans present to support the participants. I don’t know, maybe there was a bigger turn out July 11th & 12th. I will post photos of the event at a later time.

There was a great turnout on Friday, and a decent turnout on Saturday for the powwow. It seems that most of us walkers started leaving on Saturday though. But Friday there was a great turnout. Where did you post pics?

I did assume that there was a better turn out Friday and/or Saturday. I tried to post pics but I guess I’ve posted too many pictures on this site. Eventually, I will set up a link that will direct you all to view them.
