Has anyone read this book about The Lost Tribes of North Carolina. Part II: Colonial Granville County North Carolina and it’s people? Are some of those people listed in this book immigrants to Granville from different countries, or indians and thier desendant’s surnames living in North Carolina?
Would you know if my Allens and Howards are on this list? I’m sure saj would also be interested.

I haven’t read the Book yet but, I think i will end up purchasing it when i get a chance. I’m curious about 3 Surnames on that list myself. My Wilkerson’s married into the Surnames Allen, Daye, Green, and Cotten Amongst other surname i will add later. I don’t really have to much info on those lines though.
I’ve found a copy in the reference section of the library.
Yes, my ancestors are listed. It has maps by Searcy and shows the first VA immigrants to NC.
It’s very interesting. It is a compilation of numerous genealogists now deceased and people whose ggggggg-gpts kept records.
