Here is the URL of the history of the Methodist Episcopal Church: http://www.ccel.org/b/bangs/history_mec/HMEC_ALL.HTM. There is a list of their preachers on this web site. Several familiar names. Funny thing is, a couple of the preachers whose names are in my line were kicked out.

I just saw this. I tried the link and got “page can’t be found”.

I am interested in this. Maybe it’ll tell about History of the Indian Mission Conference in Indian Territory — my ancestors were members. Also an ancestor was a pastor (actually a cousin to my direct ancestor).

Right now I have to go to the library to get on line so I am limited to 30 minutes a day.

I too am interested. I believe that this church brought my native American family to Iowa.
