It is with love and sadness I share that Suzanne J Snelling, (SaponiTown username sue) passed on Wednesday August 13th at 81 years of age. I joined her in our family genealogy journey in the mid-1980s. We made many trips to Indiana and Florida connecting with cousins and rebuilding our family tree after so many had passed early. When my mother was born in 1944 only one of her four grandparents was alive, her father’s father. His life had been marked by loss, losing his father at 13 and his wife at 24.

I distinctly remember my mother telling me about SaponiTown in 2005. She was very grateful for the knowledge and people she connected with here. She remained active in our family in genealogy until her last days.
