Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
Hey All, I checked with Canada’s archives for Gertudes work with the Tutelo, there is a large collection of music, since she worked in Canada, it looks as tho’ there is close to 100 songs, I’ve yet to look for the documents because the cost of the tapes; if I can get them (they may be expensive), but atleast we know that they are there.
This maybe the place to save some money if purchasing from the USA.
Aswell there were other tapes by Fenton and Sapir!
Hello All here is a link to Canada’s “Smithsonian” you can search several other libraries aswell, I hope that this will expand our search and chances of a successful revival.

Then you select “sound recordings” then search on the word “Tutelo”
Yes that’s the link, I hope that everything works out, sometimes it’s hard to wade through the sites, but it’s a great source for research materials.
