I’m looking for information on my Blackfoot ancestors. My g-grandmother was a full blood Blackfoot. Her name was Grace May Bracken born 1886 in Coles County, IL. My Mother and grandmother say Grace’s father was a Chief and he used to come to visit in his head dress. They never mentioned his name but I think it might have been Allen M Bracken and his wife Floretta Fleming. Grace had a brother named Charlie Henry Bracken.
Any information would be appreciated.
Thank you. Vonny Bemis
