By the way, I have quite a few Anderson in my tree. Heard of Sally Anderson baft1785 m to Eli “Bad Eli” Sr. BOWLING b1785 Lee Co, VA? Or Nancy Anderson b1774 Buncombe, NC m to Jim Jesse Roberts b1763 Buncombe, NC? They both moved to Clay Co, Ky where they have a huge descendant base.:o
Search on the Bolin name here, it’s one of the half dozen that can be traced to a named Saponi in the colonial record. There have been many posts about it.
I have a Rebbeca Anderson that married an Arthur Robbins he was born in 1770. I Know Rebbecas fathers name was John Anderson, all I have on her mother was Sarah Let me know what you find out Thanks Lentz:) 🙂
Has anyone ever stumbled across a Dina/Dinah Anderson born C1697? She married Ralph Hunt. I’ve never found a thing on her..the only one by that name born near that time was a slave freed in a group of Andersons in Va by the will of Fulcher? Bill probably knows, was it John Fulcher? I am just too disorganized right now. Anyway, there are a lot of Anderson families but the earlier we get it should be a more narrowed choice of possibilities you’d think.:confused: I kind of gave up on ever finding her. Saj
I posted earlier here because we got on the name Anderson, It was told to me that I had a Henry Anderson born in Edgecombe County,N.C somewhere between the year of (1730-1736) that married a Tuscaroran Indian lady.
They had a son named John Anderson who married a Sarah____, those two had a daughter named Rebbeca. Any advice tracking these roots would be greatly appreciated. I noticed the last few post were some Anderson names.
