The latest National Geographic just arrived. It has a story on Jamestown (I have not read it yet.), entitled “Jamestown: The Real Story – How settlers destroyed a native empire and changed the landscape from the ground up.” The cover features one of White’s pictures and there is a map with native populations on one side and a native town and Jamestown pictured on the other side.
