The pow wow this Saturday and Sunday will be a very special one. They are having special honor ceremony for the Police, Fire fighters,
all heroes of 9/11. A lady by the name of Tessie Belue Singer, Attorney and Poet will be present to sign her new book, Reflections of a Curly -Haired Buffalo Woman. She is of African/Choctaw/Creek/American decent. I know that alot of you live very far away, I will be attending and let you all know how it goes. Anyone needing directions please let me know and I can direct you there.

If you are driving from Middletown, Ohio you will go 75 north to 675 (Columbus) stay on 675 until you come to I70 east. 70 east will take you to the Enon/Donnelsville exit, that is Route 4, follow Route 4 and you will see signs along the road directing you to George Rogers Clark Park. From Dayton it takes me about 20 minutes. You can call me if you get lost, however these are probably the easiest directions to get there!!
My pager # is 1-888-720-9208.

I’ve ended up being saddled with work this weekend, but I’m still hoping to make it to the Pow Wow on Sunday. I’ll give you a call if I get lost.
Thanks so much for the information.

September 10, 2002 at 5:59 pm #6586Hey Folks,
I went out to the pow wow on Saturday evening and there wasn’t anyone there I knew!! Wow, that was kind of spooky. Most of those folks I think were supporters of the Church of the Southwind group. Anyhow, I didn’t stay for long. Redfox I will be at the Mohican Pow Wow, and I agree with Linda that you should post it! Also, someone may need directions, lodgeing information, etc!!
Let me know if I can help out. Mohican pow wow is great!
