Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
I was watching a PBS special called Appalachia and in the first episode, there was a reference to trading routes between the Indians of the Upper Midwest and those of ffice:smarttags” />
I too saw this on PBS, very interesting…I would like to see the history of Appalachia opened up…but that may be difficult…like my family, few words are spoken and not much has been written down…to find something would truly be a treasure!
Hope all is well with you David:)

Shirley
Shirley, there is a site called Metcalf Family Mews. Anyone can go to this site to look for Adkins Families. Just do a search for Metcalf Family Mews, when you get there look for a box should say search. I’m not saying your Adkins are there, but check and see. CarolynPigg…tenderfoot1954@yahoo.com
