4th Annual Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Tribe Inter-Tribal Fall Festival and School Day Powwow Fort Story, Virginia Beach, Va.
This is held on the post of Ft. Story. There are many hotels and motels in Virginia Beach that are reasonably priced at this time of the year. And there are still many good restaurants open, too. This pow wow takes place at the restored village, and there are many craft vendors there. Come on down and enjoy the festivities….one of the last powwows of the year in this area.
January 2, 2012 at 10:27 pm #36088For those that attended the Frisco Native American Museum Powwow/Dancing Moccasins, it is with regret that I pass along a message from Joyce and Carl Bornfriend….they will have to cancel the powwow for this year due to medical concerns. After 9 mos. of medical challenges it is all they can do to manage the museum….please keep them in your prayers.
January 2, 2012 at 10:27 pm #36089Per a very productive meeting between representitives from the AICA Powwow Committee, the Boy Scouts of America, and the Cabarrus Powwow Assocation the following was agreed upon by unanimous vote:
New location: Camp Cabarrus (Near Northwest Cabarrus H.S.)
Frank Liske Powwow 2012
Address: 4827 Camp Cabarrus Drive, Kannapolis, NC 28081
New date: September 21st & 22nd
Details are still being ironed out. However, stay tuned as this exciting chapter in the formerly Frank Liske Powwow is spelled out.
Take note that the website will be changing its address to reflect this change.
As always we sincerely thank you for your support
