Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
I am not sure how many of you travel the pow wow circuit, but, two of the head dancers, Enahdah and Thunderdancer, are close friends of ours. It is with great sadness that I learn of Enahdah’s mother’s passing on Monday, March 5. Sally Oakley was a lovely lady to know and the we will miss her dearly.
Please say a prayer for strength for Jeannie and her family as they go through these trying times. Her service will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Tabor UMC, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Please also say a prayer for Jeannie’s son, Isaac, who is currently serving in Afghanistan.

Becky, please extend our prayers and concern to this family. We will also hold the young soldier up before the Lord as well. Living here sort of between Cherry Point and Lejune bases we are very much aware of the needs of our military. If you can send us his name and we will put it on our prayer column specifically. Ed
Thanks, Ed…I have already sent it to you.
Take care..Becky
