Not sure if this link is of interest to anyone, but the John Thomson here preached in several interesting areas : Lancaster, PA; Martinsburg, WVA, Prince Edward County, VA, and finally, this church. His son-in-law, Richard Sankey, is somehow connected with my Sinkeys. After Richard Sankey left Lancaster, PA for Prince Edward County, my Richard Sinkey shows up in the same area in PA.

Bill and I found evidence that would seem to indicate that Thomson’s descendents were mixed. One of his descendents is David Crockett.

I Have been looking for the parents of Martha Thompson. Some sites said that John Thomson was her Father, and others say that he is not. I looked at the site, and I do not thank that he is.
