Native American genealogy research from the Piedmont of NC & VA
Dang it, I meant the title to read “Pretty NEAT site”. Doh!
Don’t know if this one has been posted before. If the info is correct, these would be some of my Collins line (from Patrick Co, VA and Stokes Co, NC). The Pack/Quesenberry pair is also of interest. Perhaps some of these folks are familiar to y’all, too.

Check out this wonderful old photo (Frederick Quesenberry & Cynthia Pack):

Hi Beeleaf,
That is a very interesting photo. Are you wondering if Cynthia Pack’s dress may have some Indian influence? It certainly is unique.
Wachinika,
I did notice the interesting design in her dress. I also thought some of the photos (including that one) might seem familiar to some of us. But, mainly it could be a good resource. These families lived in the Clinch valley (Tazewell Co, VA) and New River area, close enough to “Goinstown” to at least be interesting. The maps and census records might also be helpful to someone.
The Elisha Collins mentioned is the Elisha from Patrick (& Albermarle) County, VA and Stokes Co, NC whose will has been posted previously. It gets very tricky trying to follow the Collins families, as the same names pop up in different places! But, these do appear to be my Collinses, along with a few of the other names (like Pack).
