Anyone that does not know by now…..radio station G105 in raleigh NC’s dj spent 15 minutes non stop stateing every kind of racist native American slang and sterotype I have heard anyone say in one sitting……even went as far as to call the Lumbee tribe inbreds…..it is more stuff than I can type here!!!!
EVERYONE needs to go to the news station nbc 17’s website and watch the news broadcast from today.
You can also go here and listen to the entire thing….be warned you will be very mad once you hear it….don’t say I did not warn you.

send messages to the station send complaints to the fcc….do whatever to let these people know we are a strong united nation and are not going to take this kind of crap.
the radio station has a apology posted on their website right now but it is such a short and going no where apology that you can clearly see how it is NOT a apology.
Pass this information to everyone you know and lets LET THEM know WE are not going to allow this.

Thanks beeleaf, looks like a lame brush off to me …. I could go to a real bad place on this one but I don’t want to get into the negative side of things today. I guess their come around hasn’t bit them yet? …..
Know what ya mean, yellow woman. Hard to stay positive while listening to such.
My hope is that something like this can turn into a positive thing—like, if it brings NC Native peoples together…or, both Carolinas and Virginia…or all the southeastern tribes…but, wait, they offended other peoples as well. Maybe they will become aware of just how many people that is. And we will thank them for that opportunity. ;~)
they currently only got 3 days paid vacation.
Them three dj’s have been making racist remarks to all people for along time….it’s about time they are fired.
If anyone ever did that at any other job they would be fired on the spot and the employer could be facing a huge lawsuit by all the other workers.
All the Nc tribes are working together to get the three dj’s fired. Me and many other people have filed fcc complaints and have messaged all the advertisers and informed the advertisers that a boycott may be in the future if they continue to be associated with a racist company like G105.
I’ve even contacted the Naacp and Aim to let them know the deal with this radio station. I also contacted every news station in Georgia, Nc, Sc, and Va about what the radio station has done.
The apology they have on the site is not a apology….it’s like some brush off type thing lol None of the tribes in Nc accepted the apology and are still working to get the dj’s fired…..the radio station did not even talk to any of the tribes personally….they just made a radio broadcast that was like a 10 second apology that did not name anyone in the apology lol

The apology looks like something they may just pop onto the site whenever these folks offend people. Very generic. Am not buying that they don’t condone the behavior, if it has happened before and the DJs still work there.
Osiyo All Just finished listening to this rediculous airing of stupidity~~Geez~~could those guys be any more crude?? They were so busy cracking up at themselves it was pathetic. Like you inferred yellow woman, what goes around comes around. If I had been the lady who was to marry the Lumbee Indian man, I would’ve walked out and told those guys where they could stick their idiotic comments on the way out. What a crock!!! I still can’t understand people with that mind-set in this day and age. What the hxxx are they thinkin?~~Obviously, they are not. Just thought I’d put in my opinion. The persons on this particular radio broadcast are sick and ignorant at best and need to be removed from the airwaves permanently. There appears to be no apology from them and the management statement would be funny if the incident was not so serious.
I know nothing about the young woman who was to be the bride of the Lumbee man but if I were standing in his shoes I would have been offended by her lack of response that should have let it be known the subject matter was off limit and not acceptable. Maybe as an intern whe was somewhat threatened under the circumstances but I couldn’t think of a better reason for telling the three ignoramuses’ to take this job and shove it.
I listened to public remarks that not only were racial and abusive but other statements that made insulting if not down right crude in sexual nature about the young woman’s character. Maybe many people today aren’t concerned about character today but I am. I used to believe if a lady was insulted by such a crude behavior, if she was a lady no one could set such behavior than the lady herself. It wouldn’t have done for me to have been her father or brother !
There is no apology good enough to make up in any way the gross filth these individuals were spilling out and I would have to conclude they must know their audience well and intend to continue to give them such “high, noble, and inteligent” entertainment ! Wasn’t there a radio show in Florida that had a similar incident about two or three months ago?
Could have been last fall.
What was really disturbing was that the host kept making comment that Indians don’t go and work in peoples’ homes and therefore are lazy. How ludicrise is that? What were they thinking?
Not only were they spouting racial drival, but they were completly insulting their intern and her fiance, whom they had never met.
I would be amazed if they didn’t get fired after the Imus incident. I wonder if anyone has talked to the Anti-Defemation League?
This is just my opinion….when I first heard about this I shook my head and I was hoping most folks would let it die a natural death. But, by posting it all over the internet and emailing and broadcasting it everywhere…..the public has played into their hands…they have more publicity and more listeners now than they did before.
That plus the fact that the thread starter joined and the only posts are this……..it has just fueled the fire. You can’t change people that are this way…the best thing is to just let it roll off your back….like fat jokes, blonde jokes, pollock jokes…and so many more categories too numerous to mention.
