Man, that is a big file! You gave me something to pore over now. So far, no direct ancestors. Thank you.

Look below the 2nd “O” in MONROE and you’ll find Regnal Green along Raccoon Creek. Quite a few other Greens there too.
I found him. Now I am looking for Huston, Sinkey, Deuel, and Potter.
I am taking my computer to a weekend get-together with other Green descendents to show them the images you shared.

I just realized that they were out of the area at the time of the map, at least some. There should be Potter surnames at least. They still live there.

I just found a Duell. That might be a hint where to look for the cemetery that my George Duell and his daughter and Fanny Duell Potter are buried in. Hartford is the center of the native settlement according to my cousin. Today, it is called Croton, I believe. I cannot remember if it was Croton first or Hartford. My cousin always calls it Croton, for Crowtown. She said that most of the people in Croton were Indian. My Potters live there.

And, I found my William Potter just north of the Duells! Thank you SO much for this map!
