When I am In NC, I plan on doing some research…still looking for my Martin Gibson’s parents…I think Hillsborough is the couty seat…does anyone know if they have a good genealogical reference area at the library there?

March 8, 2009 at 7:09 pm #33379Hi Shirley,
They have a whole small room for genealogy. The person that volunteers to help search doesn’t get there until around 10-11. At least that was the times when I went a year ago. But the room is open when the library is open, so that you can search on your own.

My cousin is going to fly over from California in June and she told me that she had to hurry to get there because it might close the second week in June. Is it because of budget cuts???? I dont know…. I hope not I have a lot of family history there.
