I don’t know anything about the Williams either.
I don’t know yet if this George Ridley is connected to my Riddle’s (Ridley’s) or not.
There seem to be a few coincidences between his line and mine, so I am simply wondering.
Another descendant of George Ridley has contacted me via email, and I have yet to get back to him (I need to). I’d love to get a Y-DNA test on a male from that line to check against one in my line.
I think there was a Thomas Ridley who was an trader with the Indians in the early 1700’s (mentioned in Pat Spurlock Elder’s book titled “Melungeons”)
