I have Rogers in my line also,Elizabeth Rogers,her father was Robert Rogers,from Va.

Was he Robert A. Rogers or was it A. Robert Rogers? I have seen his name both ways?

I thought it was Robert Rogers. I will have to check,there could be an A. there.

The Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) have my genealogy,but I have copies here at home.

Mike,

When did your Robert leave Southampton County? The one I was refering to was still there in 1820 and 1830. However if your Robert is the one who was in Egecombe County in the 1760’s I would like it if you could give me info on his children. I know he married Ann Woods.
