We are trying some new features to integrate SaponiTown.com with Facebook.
So far we have like/share buttons at the bottom of the homepage and the Eastern Blackfoot page. The like button is at the top of each thread (although it is really a share).
If you are looking at the site in Firefox or Chrome you will see a Facebook Connect button at the top of the forum homepage. (you will not see this if you are using Internet Explorer) This feature is to let you log in with your Facebook account – but is not currently working.
How do SaponiTown users feel about this?

The Facebook Connect button itself is not working. There is a new release of VBulletin that I can try – 4.23.
What is working is the like button on thread topics and blog entries, and like/share buttons on the homepage and Eastern Blackfoot page. These show how many people have liked a given page.
The Facebook Connect button actual logs you into the forum with your Facebook account. So you can use your Facebook login instead of registering a new one for SaponiTown. I can work on it if people think it’s worth it.

I tried it a second time but this time I clicked on the “f”, not the work “connect.” Now, I cannot get into the forum at all through Chrome. It directly takes me to Facebook or tries. Most times it goes to an error message “Too many redirects.” Probably my problem is that this forum is not connected to the email address that my Facebook account is connected to. I got in here just now by using Firefox, and the link from the email connected to this forum.
