January 7, 2004 at 3:28 pm #9361Today my son transported me to the Dana Farber Cancer Research in Boston for a second opinion. To update ; a mass was found on my overy in January. Well this doctor went over my last three ultra sounds and lab work and it is his opinion that each of the test prove that the mass is a “cyst” and that it appears with each new ultra sound to be getting smaller so surgery is not needed at this time.
I would like to thank everybody that kept me in their thoughts and prayers and God does work in mysterious ways.
Now Bill, and Linda, we can continue our search 😀

I had a cyst like that once, but I had no insurance so I couldn’t afford surgery. Somebody told me there was a pill that would make it go away. I asked my doctor about it and she looked real sheepish and wrote me a script for plain old birth control pills. The cyst was gone in a couple of months.

That’s great news!

January 7, 2004 at 3:28 pm #9366Oh, Brenda, I am so relieved to hear your good news! I hope your health will continue to improve…and will continue praying for that. God does hear our prayers….
January 7, 2004 at 3:28 pm #9367Brenda:
I am so glad of your good news!
Nothing like scaring you for a cyst. Nice to be cautious but they could have sent you for the second opinion earlier, so you didn’t have to worry. My daughter had some problems around Christmas that scared us while the doctor’s receptionist just dallied about appointments. I made them pull her file and took her to a specialist who got her in and treated before the scheduled GP visit would have happened.
Take care. Go celebrate your good news.

January 7, 2004 at 3:28 pm #10112I came home from the hospital yesterday. Still have 25 clamps down the middle but thanking God I am alive and able to feel the pain. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I know that I had a lot of good people pulling for me.
Linda, my daughter said you sounded just like a family member calling for a report. She ask if she had been left out on something and I explained who you were.
I am back folks, I am home again.
