i have never been on this site before i like it well this is what i have learned about my ancestor my great-great grandmother was bought from a wagon train by my great-great grandfather they lived on birds creek(vernon parish)louisiana. i was told she was an indian princess her name was permiller bird or byrd not sure of the spelling she lived on birds creek until she died i have pictures of her and my great-great grandfather.you can really see the high cheak bones.
