County Agency Series (COAGSER) Listing
at the Maryland State Archives
SOMERSET COUNTY COURT (TAX LIST)
MSA C1812
YEARS 1723 – 1759
I have been passing through the early Somerset Co. MD tax lists and thought others may find my notes helpful someday. The tax lists for 1723 – 1759 are on line and may prove interesting as Somerset contained the area that became Blackfoot Town for awhile. You can check out other members of the household & neighbors by going to the lists. There are a few individuals who are noted as head of household and Indian, while most are living in someone else’s household with no relationship indicated. Could be servants or relatives?
