Hello Everyone – Sorry for the delay in posts, but my mother-in-law died on 03-12-06. My father-in-law is having a hard time adjusting, as we all are, but we are coming along. Between going to school, and my duties as the Homeowner Association President, and family obligations, I have my hands full. So I wanted to thank all of you for your patience and understanding at this very difficult time in my life.
Please each of you continue to take care of yourselves, and blessings to each and every one of you!

You have our heartfelt sympathy…kinda went through the same thing last October…lost my first MIL who was also my boss. It is a great adjustment to losing someone close like that. Our thoughts and prayers for your husband’s family….and with the hope that with time the wounds will heal and your FIL will find his way. Take care, Becky

Sorry to hear of your loss. I did wonder what happened to you after having received that first email from you. You’re in my thoughts. I’m sending out to you positive and uplifting vibes. I want to thank you for informing me of this site and forums existence. I received your second email today (4/28) and have posted the information you supplied to the Valentine family website for all to see. I Hope to meet you in person soon.

My condolences. I lost my mother-in-law in Feb. of this year and my step-mother in March. Two good women who are dearly missed. And both my father-in-law and Dad are not taking it well. I can now feel a tension in my Dad’s voice that was never there before. My wife commented about Dad’s sadness that wasn’t there before. If I lost my wife, I’d be a basket case. She’s my best friend and my strength. Take care.

April 28, 2006 at 5:32 am #21506Thanks a lot everyone! My father-in-law has heart pains that last anywhere from 40 minutes to 2 hours (intermittent). He has an enlarged heart and they cannot operate on him, because he is too fragile. He has other ailment too. I feel so bad for him, but I am trying to be there for him. I pretty much am taking care of two households, but it doesn’t bother me one bit. I only wish that the circumstances (his health, and mother-in-law dying) were different. Anyway with school, and other projects I tend to keep busy. I feel lucky that I am his daughter-in-law. We make each other laugh!
So thanks everyone, I really do appreciate the thoughts and the kind words!!!
