I picked this up somewhere and keep it handy because it works! John
“Just in case you’ve had a rough day, here is a stress management technique recommended in the latest psychological texts, the funny thing is that it really works.
Picture yourself near a stream. Birds are softly chirping in the cool mountain air. No one but you knows your secret place.
You are in total seclusion from the hectic place called “the world”. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity. The water is crystal clear.
You can easily make out the face of the person you’re holding under water.”

I firmly believe that visualization is a most powerful technique for making changes both inside and outside ourselves. Focussing your mind activates your intent and all your available powers. It is something which I use daily. It’s part of our “benefits package” as humans.

Forgot to say that i have used the above for many years, however if I get to fired up I have another, I have a big old hickory stump in my back yard about 4 ft tall, well I just go out and kick it till my foot hurts and then pick uo a big stick and beat the daylights out of it. Believe me it works

May 22, 2006 at 5:39 pm #21448Good one, John. Knowing you, I was waiting for the twist at the end. I gotta go drown somebody Thursday. Wish me luck. Won’t be down at the stream, though, but down at the Courthouse.
Was just wondering when I’d see you around. Good to see you. I was just talking about you yesterday to the good ladies at Prospect Church in Ebony. Isn’t it the word ‘yanay’ in the Tutelo songs that means ‘spirit?’
