In talking to my U.S. Representative about Indian issues, she instructed me that she thought that all Indians should be “assimilated by now”!!! I make sure that I tell all my friends of her racist, genocidal comment. Her voting record is also anti-Indian.

When I was small in grade school, my teachers were always telling us that we could grow-up to be anything we wanted to be. Sadly, they didn’t tell me I couldn’t be an Indian!
