I missed this – been spending four-five days a week in Pennsylvania lately. Sounds like a successful event.

I’m volunteering in Lycoming County, in Williamsport – west branch of the Susquehanna – which shows up on many threads here. I’d be happy to take a break from what I’m doing and hit the courthouse for records for a few hours. Was registering voters at a heritage festival in Antes Fort, near Jersey Shore – and the elderly gentleman who showed me around the museum was a proud descendant of a local Andastes NDN. He said they were Cree. Interesting. i never heard of Andastes.
The Andastes were the French name for the Susquehanna.
