Native American Homecoming Festival
When: 3rd Saturday in September, 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.

Just checked with the people who have organized the Tutelo Homecoming in the past, and it is not happening this year. They do plan to do it next year.
There is a nearby festival Saturday – the Peachtown Native American Festival, Wells College front lawn, Aurora, NY.
The Peachtown Native American Festival will be held this year on Saturday, September 19 from 10:30AM-5PM on the front lawn of Main Building on the campus of Wells College. Chonodote, or “Peachtown,” is another original name of Aurora, named after the Cayuga people’s 1,500-tree peach orchard which was destroyed in 1779 during the Clinton-Sullivan campaign. The first Peachtown festival took place on the Wells campus in 1998, the first local celebration to recognize native culture in nearly 200 years. The festival is purposely planned for the end of September in keeping with Native American traditions, the timing of the fall harvest, and the approximate date of the Clinton-Sullivan campaign’s destruction of the area.
The Festival, which is free to all, is co-sponsored by Wells College, the Cayuga/SHARE Farm, Cornell University American Indian Program, and Ithaca College. Sherri Waterman Hopper will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. A schedule of events is as follows:
Flute Playing by Dan Hill followed by a Traditional Native Opening
Formal Opening of the Festival by President Lisa Marsh Ryerson
Social Dancing with the Haudenosaunee Singers and Dancers
Storytelling with Perry Ground
Lacrosee Demonstration with Alfie Jacques followed by an open to all game
Flute Playing by Dan Hill

Closing
Immediately following will be a community pinic and social dancing at the Cayuga/SHARE Farm. Free shuttles will leave from campus at 4:45PM and 5:15PM. Return shuttles will be at 7PM and 7:30PM.
