Something to add to our research.

I hope that this may comew to something, since the Tutelo and some Saponi people moved to the Six Nations, would it be possible to ask thier historians if they have any mention in thier history of the Blackfoot people that is our people.

Also could the word “Saponi” be an English American corruption of Sixsapaha?

I asked some people who’d come down from Six Nations to visit if there were people there who had a tradition of being Blackfoot, and was told they knew one lady, but did not know what it meant.

Hey Linda thanx for that, did anyone follow up on that ID?

It would really help if we could get people with the same ID as ours to help especially since if they are status Indian people.

No, I wasn’t able to follow up. There were the usual stories about someone having particularly dirty feet or something like that.
