I am not sure how to do this or where to post this but I just got this message from our local council and it needs to be circulated everywhere there are powwows, EBay or any place that it might end up. This just makes me sick.
Champion dancer Delmarina One Feather from Pine Ridge, South Dakota, had her dance clothes stolen Sept 23 while attending the Thunder Lightening powwow in Morougo Valley California. Most likely in a red suitcase from the hotel. Contact Delmar or Lynda One Feather at 605-867-5154
I am going to try to attach a picture. Never done this before.
I could not upload the picture, it was too big. It is a flyer and I can’t just get the picture off of it. If anyone wants the flyer to circulate, just email me at the address in my profile and I will send it to you.
This is very sad, as I know these dance ensembles hold spirititual as well as monetary value. Maybe if you try making the flyer smaller? By going to photobucket (free online photoshop), you can shrink the flyer and copy and paste the url here. Hope this helps, and I hope they find her uniform and whoever stole it.
