If you are talking about George L. Guy, born about 1855, son of Judy, he was the “natural” son of Judy Guy by John Wolf, a Cherokee Indian. At least this is what he stated in his Guion Miller application.

What do you want to know specifically about Macon, NC?
My Saponi Stewarts from Little Texas (Ruffin, born 1812) went there as well. They bought land from John Howard, next to Silas McDowell, who was married to a Guy woman, and one of their sons marrried Sarah A. Guy.
Ruffins parents were Neverson Stewart and Anna Jones from Little Texas. When Ruffin and his wife died young, eight of their nine children were taken in by Howards; because John Howard’s mother was a Gibson. They never applied for any type of status, the Howards were considered white.
