Hello all…Hope everyone is doing well and had a blessed holiday season. I know it seems that pow wow season was just over for some of us, but, it’s time to start listing them as they appear online.

NC School of Science and Math
The powwow this year is just an afternoon powwow with Grand Entry at 12:00 noon and closing song around 5:30 p.m. We strive to be a very friendly powwow and want people to come and have a good time. Plenty of exhibition and intertribal dancing. Good singing!
Note from Becky:
This pow wow will run a bit different this year. And there is no mention of a dinner break, either. So I am assuming that they will go straight through. If I find further information online, I will pass it on here.

Osiyo, I am WayaGawonii (Wolf is Speaking). I know of my Cherokee ancestry but recently learned of ancestry from Haliwa~Saponi as well. Would I be welcome at the Pow Wow?

Any pow wows that I post here are open to the general public….and are always welcome. I try to post pow wows where mixed bloods are welcome to dance since that’s the ancestry that my husband and I carry, along with many others here on the forum.
You can check the thread on the 2010 powwows for any upcoming ones, they usually stay on the same timeframe, but, I will be checking for the actual dates online and posting them as soon as they appear.
