There’s also my branch of Greenes (with an “e” at the end) that paralelled Techteach’s Green’s on their moves westward, at least to Ohio. Same locations, same times, unproven connections.
Oh, no, DAJ42. I consider that your Greens are my Greens. So we have not taken the time to make the connections. It just seems too likely that they had to be connected.

Hi everyone!
I’m descended from David Collins (1750) through sons Aaron and Levi. Also from Washington Johnson (KY to MO). Other family names are Roberts, Green,Hardin, Burchett.
I haven’t posted here more than a couple of times, but really enjoy the site.

Don’t the Saponi of Missouri trace their lineage through David Collins?
Yes. David Collins being my 6th Great-Grandfather on my dads side.

Okay, sounds good. It’s an honor to say, “We be kin.” 😉

I thought so. I have called down to the Saponi Tribe of MO and spoken with a very nice gentleman down there. I told him how my group moved to MO about the same time and not too far away either (Pulaski County), but he was unaware of any connections between them.
